You can offer your customers additional services in the customer portal, which they can select when creating a project. This can be for example "Coating", "Medical standard manufacturing", or a "DFM report".

To set up your additional services go to Settings > Customer portal > Additional services.

Here you can set a name and choose a manufacturing template that is added automatically to the manufacturing calculation once this service has been selected by the customer. Adding a manufacturing template is optional, allowing you to add services that have no impact on the calculation.

Lastly, you can decide if the additional service and thus the manufacturing template should be applied to all assemblies in the project or just the top-level assembly. Use "top-assembly" for NREs that apply to the whole project.

During the project creation, your customers see checkboxes where they can select the additional services you have entered. When they edit the project later on, it is possible to change the selected additional services and the manufacturing calculation automatically updates accordingly.

If you want to offer express service to your customers you can create a manufacturing template that includes the additional charges and that has a negative lead time. This then results in a shorter total lead time at a higher price.
