Step 1 - Request API credentials

The Samtec API can be requested in a self-service process by you and also activated by you. Please send a mail to the Samtec [email protected] with your company name and the request to get API credentials for using the Samtec API in Luminovo.
You can use the following email template:
Subject line: Request an API key for Luminovo from [EMS_NAME]
Dear Samtec-Support,
I would like to request an API Key. The company name is [EMS_NAME].
We want to use this API key in Luminovo.

Step 2 - Activate the API in Luminovo
Samtec will process the request and email back with a token to authenticate the API. This typically takes 3 - 7 days. The API token you receive should look similar to the example below:

To activate the API go to settings and then select the tab Supplier API integration.
Click the Samtec and click Connect account. Enter the Token and hit Save.
Once activated, the API should indicate that it has successfully activated (with the green Activate tag) the connection and can be used in Luminovo.
