Master Electronics + Online Components

This article explains how to request API access by e-mail for the Master Electronics API and onlinecomponents.com

ℹ️ Note that the Master Electronics + Online Components APIs support list prices as well as contract prices.


Step 1 - Create an Account

If you do not already have one, create an account with either Master Electronics or Online Components.

After creating your account, please allow up to 24 hours for API access to be enabled.


Step 2 - Generate Your API Key

Once API access has been enabled:

  1. Log in to your Master Electronics or Online Components account.

  2. Navigate to My Profile.

  3. Select API Access and Services from the left-hand menu.

  4. Click Generate API Key under Production Search API.

The generated API key will look similar to the example below:

Step 3 - Activate the API in Luminovo

While there are two APIs listed, Online Components is a brand from Master Electronics and therefore share the same request process. You can activate both APIs or just one. Below you find the description on how to activate the APIs once you received the API key.

Activate the Master Electronics API.

To activate the API go to settings and then select the tab Supplier API integration.

Click on Master Electronics and click Connect account. Enter the Token and hit Save.


Activate the Online Components API.

To activate the API go to settings and then select the tab Supplier API integration.

Click on Online Components and click Connect account. Enter the Token and hit Save.

Once activated, the API should indicate that it has successfully activated (with the green Active tag) the connection and can be used in Luminovo.
