Step 1 - Request API keys

Future Electronics offers API solutions worldwide and Luminovo supports their global APIs. Depending on your location and the region you are interested in, please use the appropriate link to request an API key.

Alternatively, you can follow the Future API solution page and (1) select the correct location for Region & Currency and click on (2) Request your API Key.

When you open the link, you will be taken to an online form that you must fill out to request an API key. Below is an example of how to complete the form.

Next, you need to provide more API-specific information to Future Electronics.

Please indicate in which language you prefer to receive the API.	As the information from the API are automatically translated in Luminovo, please select English
Currency	Select your preferred currency. This is typically the same, that you also use in the Future Electronics Webshop. The original currency will also be shown in Luminovo.
Are you an existing Future Electronics customer?	Select Yes, if you are already a customer of Future Electronics and No if you never ordered from Future Electronics before.
Please indicate the name of your Future Electronics sales contact	If you know the name of your salesperson please provide this here.
Are you using a 3rd party for your API?	Luminovo

Newsletter subscription	Select whether you want to receive the newsletter of Future Electronics.

Now press the Submit button to send the API request to Future Electronics. It typically takes 7 days untilyou receive the API key via mail but can also take up to 3 weeks in special cases.

The API key you receive has the following format:

Step 2 - Activate the API key

Once you receive the API credentials, go to Settings > Supplier integrations.

Click on Future Electronics and paste your API key into the field API key* as seen in the example below. Under Activated regions, select the stock regions you want to receive offers from: Europe, North America, Asia, or any combination of them. At least one region has to be selected. Press the button Connect account to activate the API credentials in Luminovo.

You can change the regions later in the same place. The change only applies to offers Luminovo requests from Future Electronics after you save it.

Haven't received your API key yet?

If you don't get your API key within the time shown at the top of this page, you can send the supplier the email below. Copy it, fill in the parts in brackets, and add your Luminovo contact (CSM or Solutions Engineer) in CC.

Hi [Contact name / Supplier team],

We requested an API key from you some time ago and wanted to follow up on the status.

We need the key to connect to Luminovo. Is anything blocking the request? If there's anything we can do on our side to speed things up, please let us know.
