Most tables in Luminovo share the same controls for filtering and for choosing which columns you see. This applies, for example, to the component list under Parts, the BOM overview of an assembly, and the tables in a Sourcing scenario.
Filter a table
Click Filter above the table, or open the menu of a column, and pick the field you want to filter on. For text columns, choose one of these operators and enter a value:
Operator | Shows rows where the column... |
is | matches the value exactly |
is not | has any other value |
contains | includes the text you enter |
does not contain | doesn't include the text you enter |
is empty | has no value |
is not empty | has a value |
Use is not and does not contain to exclude rows, for example all components whose description contains "obsolete". Use is empty to find rows where a field still needs filling in, such as components without a description.
Number columns, such as the unit price in Sourcing, use a range instead: enter a Min value, a Max value, or both. Many tables also have quick filters above the table for the most common views.
Show and hide columns
Open the ... menu at the top right of the table. It lists the columns under Shown in table and Hidden in table, so you can switch single columns on or off.
To work through many columns at once, click Manage columns. The dialog shows how many columns are visible (for example "13 of 64" in a Sourcing scenario) and lets you:
Search for a column by name
Switch each column on or off
Show all columns with Show all
Go back to the default selection with Reset
Sourcing tables offer more than 60 columns, from prices and lead times to quote progress and sourcing notes, so the search is the quickest way to find one.
The same menu has Export as Excel to download the table and Reset table to default to restore the default columns.
Resize columns
In most Sourcing tables you can change a column's width: drag the right edge of the column header to make it wider or narrower.
