Hexachip API

This article helps you request API credentials from Hexachip for use within Luminovo.

Step 1 - Create a Hexachip account

The first step is to create an account on the Hexachip platform.

Important:
Please use the email address that will receive all transactional communications, including:

  • Purchase Orders (PO)

  • Proforma Invoices (PI)

  • Order confirmations and related exchanges

Steps:

  1. Go to the Hexachip platform : https://en.hexachip.eu/

  2. Click on Create an account

  3. Fill in the registration form with your company information : https://en.hexachip.eu/sign-up

  4. Confirm your registration

Step 2 - Request your Hexachip API credentials

Once your Hexachip account has been created, you can request your API credentials.

Two options are available:

Option A – directly via the Hexachip platform

  1. Go to the API / API Credentials section

  2. Click on Request API access

Option B – by email

You may also request API access by contacting the Hexachip team via email:

Email Template:

Dear All,

I would like to request the API credentials for the Hexachip API.

We intend to use this API within our sourcing software Luminovo.


Kind regards,

[Your Name]

Once approved, your API credentials (Client ID / Secret or equivalent) will be sent to you by email.

What to expect: Your API credentials will look similar to the following example:

  • CLIENT_ID : d44d1857-6907-4beb-8f44-bb74dfcc49xr

  • CLIENT_SECRET : 04ad63bf5fcd46f7cfdce862b2117a2f8f96be6c29dcb58806c64ac30e3f9b18

Step 3 - Activate the API in Luminovo

After receiving your API credentials, you can complete the integration in Luminovo.

Steps:

  1. Log in to your Luminovo workspace

  2. Go to Suppliers / API Integrations

  3. Select Hexachip

  4. Enter the provided API credentials

  5. Save and activate the integration

Once activated, the Hexachip catalog (pricing, availability, references, etc.) will be accessible directly within Luminovo.
