The first time you like to connect your account with DigiKey, you will see the status 'Inactive':
If you click on it, you will be able to connect your own DigiKey account. If you already have a DigiKey account, please continue with Step 2, otherwise please follow the instructions below:
Step 1 - Create your account
Create an account via this link ( ℹ️ If you already have an Digikey account you can skip this step). Otherwise, please follow the instructions below to fill out the form.
Create a My Digikey Account
In the first step you need to select For a business to expand the form. Fill in your first name, last name and your company name. Select the Company type that fits best to your company (such as "CM Contract Manufacturer" for EMS business for example) and select your job title. Next put in your phone number, email and a password. To continue the form press Continue to Step 2.
Shipping Address and Contact Information
Next fill out the form with the information for your shipping address. Start with selecting the country/region and your currency (either USD or EUR). Press the button Continue to Step 3.
Verify your account
Digikey will send you a verification code (such as in the example below). Put this number in the corresponding filed and press Submit.
Step 2 - Connect your Digikey account to Luminovo
After you have successfully created a My Digikey account go to the Luminovo settings and select the tab Supplier API integration. Select Digi-key and press Connect account.
You will be redirected to the Digikey login page (image below). Fill out the username/email and password from your previously created account and click Login. If you are already logged in your Browser, this step might not show up but should have the same result as described below.
Once you have logged in to Digikey, the Luminovo system is now connected to your Digikey account. You will be automatically redirected to the Supplier API integration page in Luminovo, which should now indicate that the API is active. You are now ready to use the Digikey API in Luminovo.

IMPORTANT: If you have received confirmation of a higher rate limit (e.g. 10,000) from DigiKey, please contact us at [email protected] and pass this information on to us. The higher limit must also be entered in our backend.
